<aside> ✨ 004_clairvoyance is web-based VR 360 video project hosted in Mozilla Hubs. The work guided the audience to move through the VR space as an Avatar, during a live presentation for Shooting Gallery Performance Series #10 in November 2021. During the performance, the audiences Avatars moving through space together became part of the work, allowing for a liveness to be captured while witnessing how folks were experiencing the piece in real-time together.
As part of the research for this work, Caroline used real images from her own meditations to become the “set design” which was recreated with Google Tilt Brush / Open Brush . Caroline then keyed herself back into the worlds she created and used various tools such as Isadora, an Insta360 camera, and GLSL to create specific visual content. This was all edited in Final Cut Pro and then uploaded to Spoke/Mozilla Hubs.

Once you enter the screening room you will see a large circular video player, please click the “g” key once to be able to fly up to view the work! Please fly through the wall of the video player to go inside to be able to watch the 360 video. Once inside feel free to move your avatar around to see different perspectives and angles of the work.
For the best user experience please view the work on either Firefox or chrome. Mozilla Hubs will ask for access to your mic but you will have the option to mute once you have entered the virtual room.
