International Choreographic Interlink Symposium: Centering Trust Unknown

September 4–7, 2025

The International Choreographic Interlink (TTLink) is a Canada–Taiwan cultural exchange initiative originally conceived by the late Norman Armour. This year marks its inaugural presentation in Vancouver, in partnership with Dreamwalker Dance Company, the Vancouver Art Gallery, and The Dance Centre.

TTLink fosters intercultural dialogue, Indigenous-to-Indigenous exchange, and a decolonial approach to creative process and touring. Centering relationship-building, mutual learning, and trust in the unknown, the initiative reimagines international collaboration through a process-based model. By shifting away from production-driven frameworks, TTLink prioritizes relational, community-rooted practices that cultivate deeper and more sustainable connections across cultures and geographies.

The symposium will feature a dynamic program of workshops, artist talks, panel discussions, and work-in-progress sharings of performance works. This gathering invites artists, cultural workers, and the wider public to engage in open dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collective reflection on new ways of working internationally.
