Roshni Riar (she/they) is a Punjabi poet, interdisciplinary artist, community organizer, and the Creative Producer of Chimerik. Through her work, she explores the relationships between cultural and ancestral knowledge, migration, language, and the body. She is deeply curious about pushing the boundaries of creative writing beyond the page to offer different modes of access, blending literature with multi-sensory performance, such as dance, sound, digital, and visual art. She is based on the unceded and stolen lands of the Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam nations colonially known as Vancouver, British Columbia.
