Unity Consciousness is an experimental, interdisciplinary arts festival and group exhibition curated by Sammy Chien and Caroline MacCaull of Chimerik 似不像. Featuring video art, painting, sculptures, interactive sound installation, noise music, throat singing, durational performance and experimental live collaborations, this collection of work bridges ancestral ritual practices with contemporary art and technology. By uplifting underrepresented voices, the aim is to reclaim narratives, foster healing, and explore universal truths embedded in ritual. Through this shared experience, Unity Consciousness invites audiences to sense the invisible threads that bind us—echoes of a shared origin, a resonance that transcends the surface. It offers a space to explore what lies beyond separation, a profound union that nourishes the spirit and carries us toward a deeper, more luminous way of being.
Unity Consciousness Arts Festival has 2 parts: Exhibition that is open to the public during the hours of the Roundhouse Community Arts Centre. Open to all ages, public, free of charge. Wheel chair accessible.
Unity Consciousness Arts Festival also presents a series of ritual-performance gatherings — a space between performance, ceremony, and community gathering. Audiences are invited not just to watch, but to witness, reflect, and gently engage. Rooted in practices of presence and collective care, this format encourages softness, movement, and connection. While each offering includes scheduled performances, the atmosphere is intentionally relaxed. Think: part salon, part spiritual cabaret, part shared ritual.
This marks the first year of the Unity Consciousness Arts Festival. The theme is around love and invisible connections.
